General Notes

The "Big" AI Patch is on track for either this upcoming week or next. I'll share some more details on Discord, but it will resolve a lot of unit behavior problems we've had and vastly improve combat. We've rolled out some improvements to Spawn functionality with this patch that will hopefully cause fewer issues then last time (e.g. spawning into enemy encampments, impassible terrain, and so on).

Tweaks & Adjustments in this Patch:

  • Changed SFX for Lumber Mill
  • Filtering Available Servers Based on Game Client
  • (This will hopefully resolve join issues that are related to the server/game builds being different).
  • Subtle lighting changes to reduce shadows a bit.
  • House is now both visually/technically in a 2x2 tileset.

Bug Fixes

  • Archer Unit typo fixed in the name in the pop-up
  • Sometimes User cannot build in an explored area close to the fog of war
  • One of the spawn points is placed in a path too narrow to build
  • Sometimes users cannot spawn at all
  • Resource deposit toasts randomly appear above buildings without any Colonist gathering the material
  • Capitol building shows deposited resources' toasts of other players
  • The click & drag selection box moves alongside a user's camera
